Prophete De Guye

He ran at Market Rasen on 11 November 2012 for the race he won last year and won the race for the second consecutive year under a confident ride from Felix De Giles at 7/2. Moving up to challenge three out and moving clear from the second last for an impressive victory.

His next run was a 5th at 8/1 at Ascot on 23 November 2012 and followed this with another 5th at 25/1 in the 3m Handicap Chase at Kempton on 12 January 2013.

His next run was in a 3m veterans Handicap Chase at Doncaster on 20 February 2013 with Timmy Murphy aboard and he finished 6th at 25/1.

He ran in a 2m 3f 110yd Novices' Hurdle at Taunton on 4 April with Felix De Giles aboard and finished a creditable 4th at 14/1.

He finished an excellent 2nd at 25/1 at Cheltenham on 17 April with Timmy Murphy aboard. He finished 3rd in the same race 2 years ago and went one place better today. A very pleasing return to form.

He ran in a 3m 1f 110yd Handicap Chase at Ludlow on 16 May with Felix De Giles in the saddle and he finished 6th at 10/1 not being able to get in a blow at the leaders following a mistake.
