He ran at Stratford on 27 October 2012 and thanks to a last fence fall by favourite Full Ov Beans, he was a 3l winner at 100/30 under Timmy Murphy.
He headed back to Fakenham on 20 November for his hat-trick attempt in the race he had won the previous two years and lost in a photo at 2/1 under Adam Wedge.
His next run was in a 2m Handicap Chase at Folkestone on 4 December with Mark Quinlan in the saddle and finished 5th at 5/1 having run well for a long way but tired late on in very testing ground which would not have suited him.
His next run was in a 2m 2f Handicap Chase at Market Rasen on 10 March and he finished 4th at 11/4, tiring late on in sticky ground. He will improve for the run and be seen to better effect on more suitable ground.
His last run was in a 2m Handicap Chase at Southwell when he finished 4th at 12/1 hitting the third last which cost him any chance.
